No not serious!  The track has to be prepped,  which can't be done because of the frost line.  Yes the ground is still frozen under the first couple inches of mud and snow.   Once the ground thaws it will have to dry up so that the equipment can run on it without sinking out of site.  Not to mention there would be no where to park, it would ruin the facility.
It will be a good three weeks if not more.

On Monday we tried moving some fence posts and moving dirt but the ground is still frozen down in.  Last year at this time we were building the quad track.  It's been a long winter but when the weather breaks it's going to happen quickly.
Watch the Miles website for the opening practice date!
Also the Miles Mtn. e-newsletter will be out this weekend!

I am having some serious cabin fever.  I am taking the wife and son riding this weekend at my cabin just to get out and get moving.

Jon, Are you OK, How did you break your helmet?
I did get to ride a bet on Saturday. I took the CR 250 for a few laps, I could not have asked for better track conditions. I think we will be renting a dozer next month to change it up a bit and to fix a few things.
I cant wait to race. See you all soon.
