There will be open practice for bikes and quads on the quad track only.

How was Rocky Roost? We went there a few times when we first started riding back in 2004. Once we got to ride a couple other places it frankly just wasn't worth the time, distance or money to go to Rocky Roost. Wayne's a nice enough guy, but there just isn't much there and the conditions were pretty crappy.

Bill,
Sandbagger, Cale and I went up to Rocky Roost last Fall. They try to make it fun up there for you, but not much there, but a lot of rocks and dust. Wayne hoses it down to control the dust, only to make slippery clay. The biggest excitement we had was rescuing a kid and a quad off a tree on that almost vertical trail up there across the creek. Come to think of it, I snapped a rib up there too. I wouldn't go back!

Hey Steve! That's about what I was thinking. I went up there the first day I rode my YZ250F. We'd been there a few times before that, but I don't think we've been back since.
BTW, I sold the Harley Saturday. Now I can buy some parts I need to get our dirt bikes together!

The track is a rough, there are trees down in most of the woods trails. the jumps need to be redone on the lip and they are not quad friendly (rutted down the middle). But all in all it was nice to get out and ride. And for only $15 all day.

Huh. That's funny. I always felt like it was more geared to quads. Seems like they get mostly quad riders up there. Interesting. Wonder how much business he gets?

Have to say thanks to the great people at Miles Mountain! The track was a mud fest but well worth a first practice at the Mtn! I have some great photos my wife took of some of the bike guys and of course a couple photos of Mike Egleston hauling my son's DRX 90 racer back to the pits in the bucket of his track loader, but boy does my back hurt!!!
