Season Starts Soon !Just a reminder (if anyone happens to need one  ) that the season starts on Sunday April 27th at Mapleshade. If you want to save time and did not already do so, you may get your D-4 membership card directly from our Sec/Treas Tim Swan before next week. It makes the first day a whole lot easier than trying to do all that paperwork stuff at the track on opening day.
You'll notice we have a number of great sponsors for the coming season. We hope to add one or two more in the near future before the 27th. If you see or deal with any of our sponsors, please make a point to say "thanks" for their support of us. Our district will only get bigger and better if we have good sponsors who provide value to our members. I hope many people participate in both our D-4 Championship and East-West Shootout Series this year. As you can see, we have lots of great extra prizes for those that invest their time and money to compete in the minimum number of races. We will also be having our own banquet next winter, with additional prizes as well. If you have any suggestions about what you would like to see for our banquet, please talk to me at the track or send me an email so we can start planning early.
Finally, I know that last year there were lots of problems regarding the updating of points. Coming in new, I'm not going to go into what happened or why. What I CAN tell you is that we will try very hard to have points updated and posted as soon as possible the week after each race. I know Cindy (our pointskeeper) and Jerry (our webmaster) are going to go above and beyond to see points on the site within a few days of a race - not weeks.
