Website log in question

Is it me, or is there a minor glitch in the log in process? Everytime I visit, I log in and check the box for "Automatically log me in when I visit". But I still have to log in every time. It's minor, but thought I'd post it so the site administrators are aware.

One more quick question...is there a convenient way to flip back to the D4 home page from the forum? I don't see a "Home" link or anything. I'm not trying to nitpick, just pointing out small things I notice that might be improved. Oh, wait. I think that IS nitpicking.  Razz  Rolling Eyes

Hey Willie I have the same issue with the "click to automatically log in".  With every new website though there are always little bugs to work out.  I am sure that in the near future all of these little things will be taken care of.  Thanks for pointing that out though so that the powers that be take note!

I think it has to do with the cookie settings as it extends just a little further than automatically logging you in.

There is also the feature of showing you which posts are new and such, typically after visiting a new post it should mark it as being read and no longer show up for you as an unread post. This also usually has something to do with the cookie settings of the forums.

Perhaps when the admin has a chance to do a little more checking on the these two things, it might be just a quick little fix.

As for this, the forums have actually been installed on the home page of the D4 site. All you have to do is scroll up from the forums section to view the main website.

To get around this, I saved the link to the forum not the D4 site and it now remembers my log on information.

Only down fall is now I don't see the information on the home page
