Wow! Big changes for D4 in 2009!Just checked out the website. While it's somewhat of a surprise that it'll be jsut Miles, I can't say I'm surprised. I'm just really glad to see that there are good folks stepping up to keep D4 going. It's too bad that it'll be just Miles' this year. But, from a personal perspective, I would probably never make the trek out to Mapleshade to race and I don't think there were a lot of folks that made the trip from there to Miles. It sounds like a great facility and great people, but to have just two tracks and have them that far apart seemed like a tough obstacle to overcome for the district.
We will sign up for D4 and try to support it. Miles Mountain is an outstanding track run by great people and we are anxious to come back. Frankly, I am amazed that other tracks have not been clambering to get Miles to join "their" districts. Seems like the facility and people would be a real feather in the cap of any district. Hell, even the crown jewel!!! 
The professional way that the news was put on the website and the kind words for the folks at Mapleshade are good indicators of the classy people on both ends.
So, good luck to Mapleshade. Let's make 2009 a good transitional year for Miles Mountain!

Wow only 2 quad races?

We are only having the two, big quad dates with D6 this year due to low turn outs for the D4 only quad races last year. We only averaged 7, big quads  on the D4 dates so it's a mater of economics.
You have to have the numbers and they just weren't there for D4 even after Miles Mtn. built them their own track. So this year we are joining the D4 quad race with the D6 quad race to have bigger and better race events.
Miles has also made the supercross series four races this year. The SX track is being redesigned and quads are welcome.  So really there are 6 races for quads this year.
Promote your sport and get your numbers up. Miles is there for you, that is why we built the track and are not giving up on you.

Well Ill be at all of them as long as my quads running. The supercross will be cool Im looking forward to that.
