hey,im new to this site,im curious if any d4 members will be competing at motorama this year?im in process of starting off my six year old and need a ton of info,where to apply for his ama,where i can find the d4 schedule for 2009,ect any help would be awesome

Go to www.ama-cycle.org for your AMA information. The D4 schedule is listed on the news section. The website will be getting it's 2009 face lift soon.
As far as Motorama, I have been going there for years we always have a blast. Personnally I wouldn't ever think about racing there. But for the smaller kids that aren't jumping yet it's not bad. It's when they start getting air that the dangers come in. Just look up on one of the concrete decks with the guys in wheel chairs from past Motorama races. I'm not sure of the total number of riders that have been paralized from that track layout, but there are many!
Just be carefull and have fun! We want to see you at the D4 races this year so stay healthy.

thanks for the info,i was unsucsesssful finding the schedule for d4 but i can wait untill the page is updated,did i gather that miles will be the only place d4 is running?im interested in joining and most likely will choose d4 over the others,because the events seem to stay near by(and a better web site) as far as running harrisbug in the next few weeks i think it will be good for the boy, as you stated as long as its not big air,get him over any form of stage fright right out of the gates,i raced my pro arena truck there and yes they lay the track out to destroy ,it seems thats what they want to see is major carnage thanks again
