It looks like I will be out for a few weeks. I took a bad fall in the 2nd moto of the Vet-C race at Miles on Sunday. I did not break any bones but I did tear some ligaments in my left shoulder and brused my right heel.
Im not sure about the bike I have not seen it yet, Bill took it home for me (thanks Bill and Cody for your help) I have to thank Kerry (my wife) for her help too and sitting with me for 5 hours at the ER waiting to see a doc.
Kerry did get a few pics before my crash.

Yeah, too bad, Kyle. You were riding well, too. At least I assume you were. I didn't see you after the start until you wrecked! Hope you heal up quick. It's a rough reminder that we can get hurt doing this.

Unfortunately add Ian to the injured list too. He broke a bone in his hand when he hit the tree with his left hand at the top of the hill. I hit it and so did Bill. Luckily we had hand guards! Could Miles stand up some hay bales out from the tree before we race again? I am sure we weren't the only 3 cutting in deep into the corner. Thanks!

Hey Steve C! I doubt I'll make the race on the 29th because that's graduation weekend for Cody. I'm planning on 7/6 though and I'm going to race +40.....give you guys somebody to kick around!  |

Thanks Steve, I will be fine just need to take it easy for a few weeks. Im not sure if I will make the next race at Miles, but I will be back soon.
Bill wants to run +40 now so he can say he has beat me every time we have raced this year (one time). |

hey bill,
i don't know about kickin anybody around, i only made 4 laps in 2 classes last race. i did a oh no on the 1st lap of my 1st moto and then pretty much drank beer and filled the ice pack the rest of the day. i guess we'll all be ready sometime! see u guys next time.

Hey Steve...sounds like you made the best of the situation!
And, oh yeah...did I tell you that I beat Kyle EVERY time we raced this year??? I think I might go UNDEFEATED against him.....
